Deported migrant coming back to the United States to face charges

To this point, the White House has been defiant in bringing Kilmar Abrego Garcia back to the United States.

That changed this week when it was announced that Garcia was coming back to face human trafficking charges.

Directly Involved

For what now seems like months, the Democrat Party has been defending Kilmar Abrego Garcia as a family man who was wrongly deported by the Trump administration.

Trump has even been ordered to return Garcia to the United States, but he has defied that ruling and left him in El Salvador.

This week reports broke that the administration has evidence that Garcia played a significant role in a human trafficking ring.

Dale Wilcox, executive director and general counsel of the Immigration Reform Law Institute (IRLI), stated, “Kilmar Abrego Garcia was not a ‘Maryland man,’ but likely an illegal alien gang member transporting other aliens from Texas to Maryland as part of a human trafficking operation.”

Bondi Announces Charges

A grand jury in Tennessee crushed the dreams of Democrats when it delivered an indictment against Garcia.

Bondi stated, "Abrego Garcia has landed in the United States to face justice. A grand jury in the Middle District of Tennessee returned a sealed indictment charging him with alien smuggling and conspiracy."

She later added, "He traded the innocence of minor children for profit.”

According to the indictment, Garcia was involved in trafficking firearms, narcotics, and solicited explicit images of a minor. If he is found guilty, he could do 10 years for every charge.

Not About the Man

Sen. Chris Van Hollen (D-MD) has been Garcia’s biggest advocate, having been the first Democrat to travel to see Garcia in El Salvador, but now he is looking to create some distance.

He stated, “After months of ignoring our Constitution, it seems the Trump Admin has relented to our demands for compliance with court orders and due process for Kilmar Abrego Garcia.

“This has never been about the man—it’s about his constitutional rights & the rights of all.”

That is some serious spin because we all saw the comments about Garcia regarding his wife and family that Van Hollen and other Democrats have made. They were warned they were backing a criminal and if Garcia is found guilty, this will make a great ad for the GOP to take down the Dems in 2026 and 2028.
