The Department of Homeland Security is reportedly going to process and release thousands of illegal immigrants who entered the Texas border town of Eagle Pass on Wednesday.
According to an anonymous source from within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, every border station in the area is completely overwhelmed and have received orders to release thousands of illegal immigrants.
Eagle Pass, Texas, is a small border city of 30,000 residents and now they are dealing with a new population that is nearly 10% of the city's current size.
Eagle Pass is just one border city that is being overwhelmed by the flood of illegal immigrants and yet the Biden administration continues to refuse to close the border or use mass deportations.
President Biden's insane open borders immigration policy has directly led to the surge of thousands of immigrants crossing the open southern border.
The anonymous source told Breitbart Texas that, "The only instructions we have received thus far is to quickly process and release as many of the migrants as we can to accommodate more expected large crossings. This all started here when we began releasing single adults. Once word got out, it just got worse from there."
The Biden administration's orders to release migrants sent a message that anyone crossing the border has a golden ticket into the United States and will face no repercussions.
The obvious result of these orders is that thousands of immigrants are crossing the border and this will only get worse until the Biden administration reverses course and begins to turn immigrants back.
Breitbart's source added, "[DHS Secretary] Mayorkas is shooting us in the foot, news travels fast, and if they are willing to give status that may last for years, it’s amnesty, plain and simple, regardless of what we call it."
This anonymous source's claims are further evidence against Mayorkas who is the target of a Republican impeachment probe for failing to uphold his oath of office.
Mayorkas has been the man carrying out President Biden's border policy and as such is culpable, along with Biden, for the outcome of that policy. So far, the outcome has been thousands of illegal immigrants flooding and overwhelming border towns that aren't equipped to handle thousands of illegal immigrants.
Ever since President Biden was sworn into office, the southern border has been flooded with illegal immigrants emboldened by the President and his promises to not deport anyone. The open border has also meant massive business opportunities for deadly Mexican cartels.
Texas Governor Greg Abbott (R) wrote a letter to the President saying, "Your open-border policies have emboldened the cartels, who grow wealthy by trafficking deadly fentanyl and even human beings. Texans are paying an especially high price for your failure, sometimes with their very lives, as local leaders from your own party will tell you if given the chance."
There must be consequences for such catastrophic policy and both Mayorkas and the President need to be removed from office as soon as possible.
