While virtually every Democrat defended and made excuses for Joe Biden when he was president, that narrative has turned on its ear since he left office.
With Trump in office, everyone is out for themselves.
Over the last few weeks, an alarming number of Democrats have started to tell the truth, but to me, that only shows that you cannot trust them.
Former Senator Joe Manchin (D-W.V.) just wrote a book in which he laid into Joe Biden.
Keep in mind, Manchin lied to the American people about reconciliation, eventually folding to allow Biden to pass through massive spending bills that he is now decrying.
Manchin is now only telling the truth because he can make money on it. In his new book, he writes, “I don’t say this lightly, but under the leadership of President [Barack] Obama and Majority Leader Harry Reid, and later President Biden and Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, Democrats have systematically tried to weaken the very guardrails that have protected our democracy for generations -- all in the name of advancing their agenda.”
Would it not have been nice to hear Manchin speak that way when Biden and Obama were actually in office, instead of after the fact, when he can make a few bucks?
Former Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg was one of Biden’s biggest defenders when he was serving in Biden’s administration, but now he is speaking out.
Not only that, but he appears to be pointing the finger at Biden for Harris’s election loss.
He stated, “He should not have run. And if he had made that decision sooner, we might have been better off.”
Buttigieg has regularly been in the top three in terms of 2028 polling, so this is him trying to clean the slate for a possible presidential run.
When I heard Karine Jean-Pierre was going to testify before Congress, I thought it would be the company line, but she offered some tasty morsels.
Her hearing was behind closed doors, but one source stated, "She did acknowledge President Biden is not the same speaker he was when she met him. She does not know why his speaking changed and never asked him."
She also noted that her talking points were not issued by Biden, but instead by “various advisers” who were giving her direction, which feeds my belief that Biden was merely a puppet doing what he was told to do.
Nothing truly earth-shattering in her testimony alone, but when you start to put all the pieces together, it seems pretty clear that the Biden administration must be investigated to expose the shadow government that was really running things.
