Democrats pounce, demand action on Epstein file release

I honestly never thought Jeffrey Epstein would be the downfall of the Republican Party, but the situation is being mismanaged from top to bottom.

What has always been a Scarlett Letter for the Dems has now created a wedge between President Donald Trump and his MAGA supporters.

To make matters even worse, some Republicans are now giving the impression that there is something to cover up.

Block it

There has always been a movement by Democrats to get these files released the moment they thought that Trump was implicated in in them.

Sen. Markwayne Mullin (R-OK) then blocked a resolution to do just that before it could get any momentum.

Sen. Ruben Gallego (D-AZ) then stated, “If there is any evidence of a cover-up in the Epstein case, the public has a right to know. If there is a list, the public deserves to see it and Americans deserve to see the truth even if it’s not what Donald Trump and his elite friends want.”

He further added that the American people “deserve to know the truth,” which is an attitude I wish they would have taken when Joe Biden was in office.

White House getting angry

This has just taken on a life of its own, and the White House is clearly getting fed up with the narrative by Democrats and the media.

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt recently tried to shut this runaway train down.

She stated, "The fact that Democrats have now seized on this as if they ever wanted transparency when it comes to Jeffrey Epstein, which is an asinine suggestion for any Democrat to make."

Leavitt went on, “The Democrats had control of this building, the White House, for four years, and they didn't do a dang thing when it came to transparency in regards to Jeffrey Epstein and his heinous crimes.”

Actionable information

One of the more amusing comments by Democrats came from the mouth of Sen. Ron Wyden (D-OR), who never said a peep in years past and surely did not demand transparency from the Biden administration.

He stated, “Somewhere in the Treasury Department, Mr. President, locked away in a cabinet drawer, is a big Epstein file that’s full of actionable information."

Wyden added, “Follow the money [and] details about his financing and operations that await investigation.”

I don’t really care about the Epstein files at this point, if I am being honest, but I get that people want to see them. As I have stated before, I believe there are some big names involved, and the decision was made to simply bury the information rather than trigger the downfall of our government and entertainment world.
