Democrat Propaganda Machine Touts Harris Campaign As Reminiscent Of Obama's '08 Run

The Democratic National Convention and the whole Democrat Party have thrown everything behind Kamala Harris and the propaganda machine is creating some serious artificial excitement.

Endorsed by Barack and Michelle Obama, Vice President Kamala Harris is now the focal point of the Democratic movement as the 2024 elections approach according to The Washington Post.

Democrats had no choice in the matter thanks to President Joe Biden's immediate endorsement of Harris and now they are doing everything they can to win with one of the worst candidates in decades.

Democrats are spending millions and running massive advertisement campaigns while the mainstream media talking heads compare the energy around Harris to the energy that catapulted Barack Obama to the presidency.

Of course, anyone paying attention understands that this is all a facade propping up Harris, a candidate that has yet to win a single vote since securing the DNC's nomination.

A New Chapter in Democratic Leadership

The Obamas praised the accomplishments of their administration, labeling it a high point for Democrats in the 21st century. Their endorsement of Harris has given her access to their name and the positive connotations around the Obama's with Democrat voters.

Polling data echoes this sentiment, revealing a surge in Democratic voter enthusiasm. A Gallup poll conducted between August 1 and August 20 illustrates a notable rise in eagerness among Democratic-leaning voters, with 78% expressing increased enthusiasm over previous elections.

This current enthusiasm nearly matches the peak of 79% seen during Obama’s campaign era, especially during the intense primary contest with Hillary Clinton in February 2008.

While it is possible that some of this energy is organic, it's likely that this spike is the honeymoon phase, and that Harris won't maintain this energy over the next three months.

Moreover, enthusiasm among Democratic voters currently surpasses that of Republicans, who reported a 64% enthusiasm rate. Republican enthusiasm is likely down just due to nothing significant happening at the moment, all eyes are currently on Harris and the DNC.

Democratic Strategy: Voting For, Not Against

Historically, elections often see voters motivated by opposition to the other candidate more than support for their own. Harris is a terrible candidate that has the advantage of going up against Trump, who has been maligned as evil incarnate by the media for years.

It's no surprise that Democrat voters are going to vote for Harris against a supposedly "existential threat" to the nation.

But still, Democrat talking heads are talking up Harris's "energy" going into September.

The Gallup survey, a longstanding measure of voter sentiment, places the current Democratic enthusiasm within a historical context. "That 78 percent figure is just one point off the highest number from the Obama era (79 percent)," remarked a Gallup pollster.

This enthusiasm is not only a reflection of voter sentiment but also a potential indicator of turnout. "Both findings loom large because they suggest it could be a lot easier for Democrats to get their voters to the polls in the 2024 elections than in the past couple of cycles," another pollster commented.

All of this smoke and mirrors could be blown away should Harris perform as badly as her predecessor in the upcoming presidential debate.
