I am a firm believer that any politician in this country should have allegiance to America first.
This includes everything about our culture, including our language.
Yet, a Democrat mayor in a blue state and city just gave an acceptance speech in a foreign language, and now he is coming under fire.
I have a major problem with any member of Congress who appears to put another country before ours, and that is a regular occurrence with Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN).
Omar was removed from her House assignment on the House Foreign Affairs Committee for her antisemitic comments.
Then, of course, there are her infamous comments about the 9/11 attacks that had many people in this country falling for her removal from Congress.
I have repeatedly stated that I think Omar is an example of the enemy infiltrating the country from within, as I can never be convinced she is putting American interests before those of terrorist nations.
Then there is the case of Rep. Delia Ramirez (D-IL), who made some controversial remarks while celebrating her Guatemalan roots.
During her speech, she reportedly stated, "I’m a proud Guatemalan before I’m an American.”
Senator Mike Lee (R-UT) responded, "Are you comfortable with this?"
No, I am not, especially when you consider the immigration situation in this country. Your allegiance as a member of Congress must be to this country first, period. In my opinion, those remarks should have had the GOP clamoring for her removal from office.
Minneapolis Democrat Mayor Jacob Frey was locked in a heated battle with another socialist candidate, Omar Fateh, and he barely escaped with a win.
Well, during his acceptance speech, he almost broke the internet by giving part of his speech in a foreign language… Somali. Conservative influencer Paul Szypula was among those calling out Frey, stating, "The pandering here is insane. Mayor Jacob Frey, as he won reelection, spoke almost a minute in Somalia then said Minneapolis belongs to Somalia.”
One part of his speech that really got people fired up was, "Whether you are from Bosaso or Mogadishu, whether you are from Hargeisa or Garowe, whether you are from Beledweyne or southwest, Minneapolis is a place where you come to seek prosperity, where you come to raise your family."
Again, if you are in this country, you should be learning English, and if you are serving in an office in this country, your loyalty has to be to this country first, period. Call me whatever you want, but I firmly believe that, as I would never go to another country, especially if I was relocating there, and not learn their culture and language. We are just watching our country being taken over, and half the people who live here are perfectly fine with that.
