Country star Cody Johnson backs Jason Aldean during recent show

A growing number of country music stars have taken hard stances against the left, triggering an avalanche of controversy with overwhelming feedback from both sides.

Jason Aldean, who recently shattered headlines and music charts with his hit new song, "Try That in a Small Town," is garnering support from fellow country stars who've had enough of the left's ridiculousness.

According to Breitbart, during a recent concert in St. Louis, Missouri, country star Cody Johnson voice his support for Aldean, giving him credit during the show for the new hit song and his lack of caring what the left thinks about it.

"We live in a time where everyone gets pissed off at Jason Aldean for putting out a song," Johnson told the crowd.

He added, "If you’re videoing this, and Jason Aldean if you’re seeing this video, you keep it up, brother. You do you, boo boo."

"If being patriotic makes you an outlaw, then by God, I’ll be an outlaw," Johnson added, eliciting cheers from the large concert audience.

Aldean has also received support from massive names in the business, including Lee Greenwood and Travis Tritt. Fans of all four country stars are loving every minute of it, and especially in Aldean's case, as the song has dominated the charts for over a week.

"I am a Jason Aldean fan. He is the biggest patriot, like a lot of us. This has nothing to do with racism. This is about people trying to take away the freedom of expression. It is a great song, and I wish I had it. When it first came out I was all over it. I love Jason’s approach. He is a great artist and always does the right thing," Greenwood recently said, according to Breitbart.

Aldean responded to the intense criticism at a recent show, holding nothing back as he proudly declared his patriotism.

"What I am is a proud American," Aldean said, responding to accusations, mostly from the mainstream media, that he is a racist. "I’m proud to be from here. I love our country. I want to see it restored to what it once was before all this bullshit started happening to it."

"Small towns want to live life, raise babies and provide. Great job Jason Aldean!" one Twitter user wrote, echoing mountains of support for the country star.

Only time will tell if Aldean garners even more support. It looks as though he probably will.
