I have heard some utterly ridiculous comments from members of the media in the past, but former White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki really takes the cake.
For nearly two years, she lied to the American people every chance she got, and that was bad enough.
But after attacking JD Vance and his wife, Usha, many conservatives believe she went too far.
My regular readers know I often refer to the mainstream media as state-run media because it is filled with former Democrat operatives who just bash the GOP at every chance.
Psaki, now a talking head for MSNBC, was no different after the White House changed protocols for access to the briefing room to allow more outlets to have access.
She went off after the transition, stating, “They’re reshaping who’s in the White House briefing room -- and slowly, but surely, turning it into a version of state-run media actors. There are still hard-hitting, excellent journalists who are in that room.”
She continued, “They don’t get questions every day, and they’re splitting a growing amount of time with people who are raising their hands and asking about Donald Trump’s fitness routine -- or giving sycophantic speeches before they ask their version of a question.”
Psaki took a really nasty shot at Vice President Vance and his wife this weekend.
She stated, "I think the little Manchurian candidate, JD Vance, wants to be president more than anything else. I always wonder what's going on in the mind of his wife. Like, are you OK? Please blink four times. We'll come over here. We'll save you.”
Psaki continued, "And that he's willing to do anything to get there. And your whole iteration you just outlined, I mean, he's scarier in certain ways in some ways. And he's young and ambitious and agile in the sense that he's a chameleon who makes himself whatever he thinks the audience wants to hear from him."
Needless to say, the White House did not take kindly to her narrative.
Steven Cheung, who can spit venom with the best of them, led the charge, stating, “Jen Psuki [sic] must be transferring her own personal issues onto others. jrpsaki is a dumba** who has no comprehension of the truth and has to overcompensate for her lack of talent by saying untrue things. Circle back on that, moron.”
Trending Politics’ Collin Rugg added, “His wife comes off incredibly happy -- Jen is a mean girl and thinks that makes her special. I've never seen Jen this happy.”
Libs of TikTok also commented, “Unhinged Jen Psaki is now smearing JD Vance, suggesting that his wife, Usha, wants to leave her husband and offers to ‘save’ her. She also thinks JD Vance is ‘scarier’ than Donald Trump. @MSNBC should be ashamed to pay her salary.”
Her comment was about more than just Usha Vance, as her reference implied that Vance is working for another government other than our own and the interests of We the People. It was disgusting, and had any conservative journalist said anything remotely similar about Joe and Jill Biden or Barack and Michelle Obama, there would have been calls for resignations. Instead, all we hear is crickets.
