CNN pollster stunned Trump supporters standing firm

Toward the end of last week, polls on Trump’s first 100 days started to get published, and it was not good news for Trump.

Democrats have pounced on the polls, but there is one number most of those polls failed to report, and it has CNN’s top pollster baffled.

Trump Polling Crashes

Numerous outlets started to publish their 100-day polls for Trump, and the feedback was not good for Trump.

He was underwater on the economy and foreign policy, and that largely had to do with Trump overpromising on the campaign trail.

Trump vowed to change a lot of things on day one, such as lowering gasoline and grocery prices, as well as saying he was the only one that could negotiate peace between Russia and Ukraine, even saying that would be done within his first 24 hours in office, if not sooner.

My regular readers saw my timeline on these issues, but I had also stated that I thought the overpromising would create problems for Trump, and I was right. Even so, something was missing from the polling, and that is how many people would still vote for Trump over Harris even given these shortcomings.

Schumer Pounces on Trump’s 100-day Grades

Senator Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) pounced over the numbers, claiming that voters are now flocking to Democrats.

He stated, “And the reason our caucus is feeling very good about our future, we know we have to work on it day in and day out, [is] because we know we’re on the side of the American people and [Republicans] are not.

“And you know the political process, you have to fight, you have to protest, you have to do everything you can. And public sentiment is everything. And the public sentiment is turning in our direction.”

That was simply not true, as recent polling showed that the Democrat numbers are even worse than Trump’s! A recent CNN poll showed that 61% of Democrat and Democrat-leaning voters disapprove of their party right now.

Wake Up, Cuck

I recently read a report that more than 90% of Trump voters say they would not change their vote, even with the current hiccups of the administration, which says a lot about how people feel about Democrats.

The fact people, even though they are not happy with the administration right now, are willing to stick it out, baffled CNN pollster Frank Lutz, who stated, “I’ve been mocked for saying I’m surprised about this, but I’m surprised about this: that Trump voters, who acknowledge that they’re worth less today than they were on Election Day, that the 401(k)s they depend on for their future has been hurt, has been damaged and yet they stand behind him. They’ll make excuses that the markets were overbought. They’ll make excuses that we need to level set.

“They’re willing to accept personal pain for them to get a readjustment of the relationship between the U.S. and China, a readjustment of the relationship between the U.S. and the rest of the world. They’ll take personal pain to get that readjustment. And Andrew, I’ve never seen this before because usually when you’re hurt economically, that changes your perspective and your politics. Not with these people. They’re staying firm.”

As you guys know, I have called Trump out when I believed he was in the wrong, and I firmly believe he needs to get the tariff situation handled sooner rather than later, but I have also stated that we need to be patient and allow this to play out, as I believe we will be in a far better place one year from now than we ever were under Biden. It would appear that most people feel the same way, even though, like me, they are not happy at all with how things sit in this moment.
