Candace Owens skips TPUSA event over Charlie Kirk death claims

Conservative firebrand Candace Owens has just pulled the plug on a highly anticipated Turning Point USA (TPUSA) livestream, opting instead to host her own digital showdown over her explosive theories about the late Charlie Kirk’s death.

In a nutshell, Owens was set to confront TPUSA about her allegations of betrayal and conspiracy surrounding Kirk’s passing, but she’s now chosen to livestream her own commentary during their event on Dec. 15, 2025, at 2 p.m. PT.

This saga kicked off when Owens was invited by TPUSA to discuss her controversial claims, which include accusations of an inside job in Kirk’s assassination and financial misconduct within the organization.

Owens’ Bold Accusations Stir Controversy

Her theories aren’t exactly subtle—she’s pointed fingers at Kirk’s chief of staff, Michael McCoy, alleging without proof that he knew of the murder beforehand, citing footage of a phone call before shots rang out.

Owens has also spun a wild web of speculation, dragging in claims about McCoy’s wife, French paratroopers, the Egyptian military, and even Israel’s supposed role in Kirk’s demise. It’s a lot to unpack, and TPUSA isn’t buying a word of it.

Blake Neff, producer of “The Charlie Kirk Show,” has publicly pushed back, announcing that TPUSA would tackle these accusations head-on during their scheduled livestream, with or without Owens in attendance.

From Virtual Offer to Solo Stream

Initially, Owens seemed game to join virtually, despite the timing clashing with her daily podcast slot, offering to cancel her show to make it work.

She even messaged Neff with a proposal, saying, “December 15th does not work in-person and 2 pm PT is also the literal time I do my podcast LIVE every day (which you knew)—but we will happily cancel the daily podcast and will join you guys virtually instead for the livestream on the 15th if that works on your end?” (Candace Owens).

But in a sharp pivot, Owens changed course, informing Neff she’d skip their event entirely and instead host her own livestream to react in real time to TPUSA’s statements.

Owens’ Livestream Plan Raises Eyebrows

She doubled down on this decision, stating, “It has been decided by the public that the best response for this is for my team to livestream your livestream and provide commentary” (Candace Owens). Talk about taking the reins—Owens is clearly not content to let TPUSA control the narrative.

Her accusations haven’t just ruffled feathers; they’ve sparked serious backlash, with Neff claiming the harassment faced by TPUSA staff over these claims is worse than what came from those who cheered Kirk’s death. That’s a heavy charge, and it shows just how deep this rift has grown.

Owens hasn’t held back, alleging “financial impropriety” at TPUSA and insisting she’ll “name names” to back up her claims of betrayal within Kirk’s inner circle. It’s a bold move, but without evidence, it risks looking more like theater than truth.

TPUSA Faces Harassment Over Claims

Neff and TPUSA are standing firm, disputing every accusation and planning to move forward with their livestream to set the record straight. They’re not just defending their organization—they’re defending their late founder’s legacy against what they see as baseless slander.

While Owens prepares to broadcast her live responses during her usual podcast slot, one can’t help but wonder if this parallel livestream will clarify anything or just fan the flames of division. It’s a conservative clash for the ages, and the fallout will likely linger.

At the end of the day, this isn’t just about a missed event—it’s about trust, legacy, and the battle for truth in a movement that prides itself on unity against progressive overreach. Let’s hope both sides can keep the focus on facts, not feuds, as they navigate this deeply personal and public dispute.
