Fans of Keanu Reeves were shocked to learn of a scary encounter at his home last week in Hollywood Hills.
According to the New York Post, the Hollywood legend's home was burglarized last Thursday, and police were unable to apprehend the suspects involved, who were caught on security cameras.
The situation unfolded on Wednesday night when Los Angeles Police Department officers responded to an anonymous call claiming that individuals were spotted at Reeves' home around 7 p.m.
The responding officers didn't find anyone at the home at that time.
However, at roughly 1 a.m. Thursday morning, police responded again as alarms at Reeves' home were reportedly "blaring."
Police reportedly spotted "multiple" suspects donning ski masks smashing a window of the star's $7 million home. The break-in was captured on security cameras.

Before fleeing the scene, the suspects reportedly stole a firearm from Reeves' residence, though it's unclear what, exactly, they managed to get away with.
Police were unable to nab the burglary suspects and are actively investigating the incident. Notably, police suspect that the first call made to police at 7 p.m. on Wednesday could have been regarding one of the suspects scoping out the home to plan the break-in later that night.

The Post noted that this isn't the first time Reeves' home has been broken into:
This is not the first time Reeves’ home has been broken into — in 2014, he faced two back-to-back intruders.
One woman in her mid-40s broke into the mansion while the “John Wick” star was sleeping and fell asleep in his library chair, TMZ reported at the time.
During that encounter, Reeves woke up and asked why she was in his home. She said she wanted to talk to him. Reeves ultimately called 911.
In another break-in, just one day after that bizarre encounter, another woman reportedly walked into his home through an unlocked door. She eventually took off her clothes and skinny-dipped in the actor's pool before groundskeeper's called police.
Reeves has also dealt with a stalker who claims he's related to the actor. The stalker has illegally trespassed on his property multiple times, and it resulted in a restraining order against him.
