Biden seen with bandage on his head, reportedly underwent surgery to treat skin cancer

Former President Joe Biden’s latest health scare has tongues wagging, as a massive bandage on his head turned heads in late August 2025.

Fox News reported that the sighting, coupled with his frail appearance, has sparked fresh chatter about the toll of his ongoing medical battles. For a man who’s dodged more health bullets than a Hollywood action hero, it’s a stark reminder of mortality’s grip.

Biden underwent Mohs surgery to remove skin cancer, a procedure confirmed by his spokesperson after public sightings. The surgery, which slices away cancerous tissue layer by layer until no abnormal cells remain, left a visible wound that couldn’t be ignored. This isn’t Biden’s first brush with cancer, and it won’t be his last, given his history.

In May 2025, Biden was diagnosed with Stage 4 prostate cancer, a brutal blow with a Gleason score of 9, signaling an aggressive disease that had spread to his bones.

The diagnosis painted a grim picture, yet Biden pressed on with public appearances, projecting resilience. Contrast that with the progressive obsession with perfect health narratives, and you’ve got a man quietly battling while the woke crowd demands flawless optics.

Surgery Sparks Public Speculation

The bandage first caught eyes on August 22, 2025, at the funeral of former Delaware Gov. and U.S. Rep. Mike Castle in Greenville.

Biden, ever the public figure, attended the somber event at St. Joseph on the Brandywine Church, but the glaring bandage stole the spotlight. It’s hard not to notice when a former president looks like he’s auditioning for a war movie.

The day before, Biden tried to downplay the wound, sporting a baseball cap at a local ice cream shop. The cap might’ve hidden the bandage, but it couldn’t hide the questions swirling around his health. In a world where image is everything, Biden’s attempt at normalcy feels like a middle finger to the left’s obsession with curated perfection.

By Labor Day weekend, the wound was impossible to miss. Video footage aired on Inside Edition showed Biden leaving a Rehoboth Beach church, the bandage replaced by a raw, visible mark. Frail and weathered, he greeted people outside, but the image wasn’t exactly the vibrant elder statesman the left loves to prop up.

Biden’s no stranger to cancer scares, having had a basal cell carcinoma removed from his chest in 2023. Doctors declared him cancer-free then, but the ongoing care suggests the fight never really ended. The man’s been through more medical procedures than a progressive’s list of microaggressions, yet he keeps showing up.

His wife, former First Lady Jill Biden, also faced Mohs surgery in 2023 to remove lesions, including one above her right eye.

The Bidens’ shared cancer battles underscore a human side often drowned out by political noise. Still, the left’s silence on their struggles is deafening—where’s the empathy they preach?

“Cancer touches us all,” Biden posted on social media, adding, “Jill and I have learned that we are strongest in the broken places.”

Nice sentiment, but it’s hard to take seriously when the left pushes a narrative of invincibility for their icons. Strength in brokenness? Tell that to the woke warriors who’d rather cancel than console.

Balancing Public Duty, Private Pain

Biden’s public appearances, from ice cream shops to church services, show a man refusing to be sidelined by illness. But the frailty in that Rehoboth Beach video tells another story—one of a body worn down by time and disease. It’s a contrast the progressive elite would rather gloss over than address.

The Mohs surgery, while effective, isn’t a walk in the park. It’s a meticulous process, cutting away cancer one thin layer at a time, leaving patients like Biden with visible scars.

For a public figure, that’s not just a health issue—it’s a PR nightmare in a world obsessed with appearances. Yet Biden’s kept his chin up, or at least his baseball cap on, through it all.

The man’s tenacity is admirable, even if his politics often clash with conservative values. Unlike the left’s sanctimonious health crusades, Biden’s quiet endurance speaks louder than any hashtag campaign.

The type of skin cancer Biden faced this time remains undisclosed, leaving room for speculation. Was it another basal cell carcinoma, like in 2023, or something more sinister? The lack of clarity fuels distrust in a media that’s quick to sanitize narratives for the left.

Biden’s Stage 4 prostate cancer diagnosis in May 2025 looms larger than the skin cancer saga. With a Grade Group of 5, it’s as bad as it gets, yet he’s still out there, shaking hands and eating ice cream. That’s either stubborn grit or a denial of reality—take your pick.
