President Joe Biden issued an apology to Muslim American leaders for questioning the Hamas death toll in Gaza.
The reported apology came following his comments last month that doubted the accuracy of the death toll reported by the leaders of Hamas.

"I have no notion that the Palestinians are telling the truth about how many people are killed," Biden said, according to Fox News. "I’m sure innocents have been killed, and it’s a price of waging war."
"Biden met with five Muslim American leaders the day after his October 25 comments about reported Gaza deaths," the report added.

"Keith Ellison, who was one of the five in attendance, told the Washington Post: 'Muslim community leaders told President Biden that the suffering of innocent Gazans trying to survive in extremely difficult circumstances has actually increased the likelihood of Islamophobic attacks in the United States.'
'The President listened carefully, responded sincerely, and showed empathy and compassion for the suffering of everyone. I am hopeful he will act on that empathy.'"

"More than 14,000 Palestinians in Gaza, including many women and children, have been killed in the conflict, according to data from the Hamas-controlled Ministry of Health," the New York Post reported.
"Israel has suffered more than 1,200 fatalities — mostly also civilians, who were killed when the terror group launched a sneak attack on Israel on Oct. 7, according to the Jewish state," it noted.
The conflict has continued more than 50 days since Oct. 7, with Hamas recently releasing a small number of hostages over the weekend. Hamas reportedly held over 240 hostages from Israel and other countries ahead of the exchange.
The hostage exchange also included the release of over 100 Palestinians, including convicted terrorists.
The headaches continue for the Biden administration as it seeks to support Israel while appeasing the left in remarks by the president that continue to add to the anger of many Americans witnessing a weakness of leadership on the world stage.
