Biden admin aide worked at law firm involved with Hunter Biden

A White House aide in the Biden administration previously worked at a law firm involved with companies connected to Hunter Biden and other Biden family members.

Michael Hochman served at Monzack Mersky McLaughlin and Browder for 17 years before serving in the White House.

His role

"Between January 2021 and June 2022, Hochman served as the White House deputy staff secretary before joining the White House’s recently created Office of the National Cyber Director (ONCD), which advises Biden on cybersecurity policy and strategy," Fox News reported.

"Hochman started out as the deputy general counsel and deputy chief of staff before being promoted to chief of staff last November," it added.

Closely connected

"Hochman was BEAU BIDEN’s college roommate and fraternity brother at the University of Pennsylvania, and he remained close to the president’s elder son until Beau died of cancer in 2015.," Politico reported.

"Hochman was also a Biden bundler who raised at least $100,000 for JOE BIDEN’s 2020 campaign and its allies," it continued.

The investigation

The news comes as Rep. James Comer (R-KY) is speaking out about the handling of Hunter Biden's case.

"Unless U.S. Attorney Weiss investigates everyone involved in the Bidens’ fraud schemes and influence peddling, it will be clear President Biden’s DOJ is protecting Hunter Biden and the big guy," Comer wrote.

"@GOPoversight is exposing President Biden's involvement in his family's schemes," he added.

Joe and Jill Biden also used the same law firm to set up two business entities to receive millions of dollars in book and speaking royalties, according to the report from Fox News. The conflict of interest could add to additional concerns in the investigation that is expected to lead to the president's impeachment inquiry.

The latest connection with the White House aide adds yet another twist to the ongoing search for evidence in the Biden investigation that could rock the 2024 presidential election.
