Barron Trump is one popular teenager, and though he's often associated more with his father's side of the family, his mother's side has had quite the influence.
According to The List, former First Lady Melania Trump's parents, Amalija and Viktor Knavs, have had a tremendous influence on his life.
The outlet noted:
Politico reported in 2017 that Melania Trump's parents, Viktor and Amalija Knavs, lived in Trump Tower with Melania and her son, Barron Trump, before the mother-son duo joined Donald Trump at the White House that same year.
It was noted that the maternal grandparents have also spent time with the family at Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate.
Amalija Knavs also helped her grandson learn Slovenian, their native tongue. Melania Trump and Barron are fluent, and Barron reportedly spoke it before entering school, according to reports.
His grandmother also keeps him connected to Slovenian culture by cooking authentic Slovenian food.
The outlet added:
Unlike Barron's paternal side, who have rooted themselves in the glamor of high-dollar New York real estate dealings for decades, the Knavses are considered humble and "not the kind of people to brag" by their neighbors.
Barron Trump is also reportedly close with his aunt, Ines Knavs. According to a book published about the family, she also helps keep Barron connected to their Slovenian roots.
"Barron almost certainly speaks Slovenian with ... Ines, his aunt, who also lives in New York. Ines Knavs was the one who took care of all the paperwork at the Slovenia consulate in New York so that Barron could formally acquire Slovenian citizenship," the book, "Melania Trump — The Inside Story: The Potential First Lady," read.

Barron's grandparents were able to have their green cards sponsored by Melania Trump once she obtained U.S. citizenship.
Liberal media outlets have focused a ridiculous amount of time on Melania Trump and her lack of appearances on the campaign trail with her husband.
The former president put rumors to rest that she wouldn't be active on the trail, saying recently that it's only a matter of time before the media sees her, likely sometime in 2024.
Only time will tell if Barron Trump and his grandparents are part of the campaign picture.
