Attack against Christians draws rebuke by Pope

The last few weeks have seen some outrageous mass murders in this country and around the world.

This week already, the United States has had two incidents, with at least one being classified as domestic terrorism.

Globally, more than four dozen Christians were killed in DR Congo, drawing a rebuke from the Pope.

New York Shooting

Earlier this week, Shane Devon Tamura, 27, of Las Vegas, allegedly walked into a New York City building and opened fire.

Tamura reportedly had an issue with the NFL, but he got off at the wrong floor and opened fire in the Blackstone offices.

A New York City Police Officer was among the four dead civilians, with one other person being wounded.

Tamura turned his weapon on himself, leaving a note behind explaining why he carried out the attack, citing concussion issues.

Walmart Attack

Over the weekend, Bradford James Gille allegedly walked into a Walmart and started stabbing people.

When the dust settled, 11 people were dead at the Michigan store. It was not an attack with a gun, however, so Dems are paying little attention to it.

Grand Traverse County Sheriff Michael Shea explained, "At the time of the deputy's arrival, multiple citizens, including one who was armed with a pistol, were confronting the male suspect in the parking lot and preventing him from harming further people and leaving.

"The deputy took the suspect into custody without further incident."

Pope Leo Condemns Attack

Democrats went nuclear over the attack in New York because it involved a gun, but officials have been very quiet about the Walmart attack, as it does not benefit their cause.

Sadly, an even worse attack took place that got the attention of Pope Leo XIV, as there were 49 Christians who were reportedly massacred in DR Congo. The Pope stated, "May the blood of these martyrs become a seed of peace, reconciliation, fraternity, and love for the Congolese people."

Illia Djadi, senior sub-Saharan researcher for Christian charity Open Doors, added, "The killings are strategic. The ADF have a very clear aim: they want to turn a large part of DRC into an Islamic caliphate, like the horrific one instigated in Iraq and Syria in 2014 by Islamic State."

We can draw two conclusions from these reports. First, Democrats are only interested in violence when it involves guns so they can push their agenda. Second, evil will always find a way, so we better start looking at the root causes and stop blaming inanimate objects as the culprit.
