Ghislaine Maxwell speaks out on behalf of Prince Andrew from prison

Jeffrey Epstein associate Ghislaine Maxwell has spoken out for the first time since her 20-year prison sentence, saying she feels bad for Prince Andrew.

Maxwell referred to him as a "dear friend" in her interview for an upcoming documentary.

"I feel so bad for him. I follow what is happening to him," Maxwell said.

I accept that this friendship could not survive my conviction," Maxwell said. "He is paying such a price for the association. I consider him a dear friend. I care about him."

Prince Andrew was stripped of his military roles in June following a lawsuit involving claims of sex with a minor provided by Epstein. The Queen also removed his title and other honorary roles.

The words from Maxwell from prison show she still has some influence among the world's elite, even from her cell. The upcoming documentary could provide even more concerning material regarding her role with some top world influencers.
