Bondi launches probe into Obama-Biden era election interference

Attorney General Pam Bondi is cracking open a decade-old can of worms with a bold investigation into alleged election meddling from the Obama-Biden years.

This probe targets claims of a long-running conspiracy to weaponize law enforcement and intelligence powers against Republicans, notably President Donald Trump and his supporters, while shielding certain Democrats from scrutiny, Just the News reported

For hardworking taxpayers, this saga isn’t just a political sideshow—it’s a direct hit to their trust in government, with potential legal costs piling up as investigations unfold to expose and rectify these alleged abuses.

The financial burden of prolonged probes and possible litigation could ripple through public budgets, impacting services that everyday Americans rely on. And let’s be clear: no one should escape accountability if these claims hold water.

Uncovering a Decade of Alleged Misconduct

Bondi’s push for justice, revealed in written answers to Just the News on a recent Sunday, comes as she recovers from eye surgery, proving her dedication to the cause. Her resolve to dig into this mess is unwavering, even from a hospital bed.

She’s not alone in this fight—FBI Director Kash Patel has been sounding the alarm, having penned a memo earlier in 2025 calling for a deep dive into the misuse of government powers dating back to the Russia collusion narrative.

Patel frames this as a continuing conspiracy, a legal angle that could bypass typical time limits on prosecutions, much like cases against organized crime.

Bondi herself put it bluntly: “This is a ten-year stain on the country committed by high-ranking officials against the American people."

Mar-a-Lago Raid Under the Microscope

A key focus of this investigation is the August 8, 2022, raid on Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home in Florida, a dramatic event now under scrutiny. Recent evidence suggests FBI agents doubted the Biden Justice Department had solid grounds for the search warrants used in that operation.

Bondi didn’t mince words on this either: “They went so far as to serve search warrants that their own Department and law enforcement officials believed were excessive." If agents on the ground smelled something fishy, why did the higher-ups push forward? That’s the million-dollar question.

While Florida is a central hub for this probe due to Mar-a-Lago’s location, Bondi has kept mum on other specific areas under investigation. Still, her team is casting a wide net, with U.S. Attorneys and federal agents actively pursuing leads nationwide.

Targeting High-Profile Figures in Inquiry

The investigation isn’t just about events—it’s about people, including former CIA Director John Brennan, who’s recently been slapped with grand jury subpoenas over his past testimony.

Brennan’s legal team has even appealed to Cecilia M. Altonaga, Chief Judge of the Federal District of Florida, seeking to intervene in the executive branch’s grand jury process.

That move drew a sharp rebuke from Bondi, who sees it as a desperate dodge: “Public reports of a recent letter... show these bad actors are clearly concerned about their liability and want to preserve a two-tiered justice system: one for them and one for everyone else. No more."

If Bondi’s right, this could be a textbook case of the elite trying to skirt accountability while regular folks face the full weight of the law. It’s the kind of double standard conservatives have long railed against, and it’s refreshing to see it challenged head-on.
