Schumer, Dems crashing in polling pushing tired narratives

After the 2024 election cycle, I really thought Democrat leadership would have taken a look in the mirror to make some big changes.

That has not happened, however, and now virtually every key member of the party is pushing the same old narratives.

Americans had enough of it in 2024, and they are even more tired of it now, as the Democrat Party is crashing in polling, especially in leadership.

Tired Narrative

Just because you change the words or the presenter does not mean you are making changes, something the American people clearly wanted after four years of the Biden administration.

One of the biggest voices in the Democrat Party today is Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX), but she is still putting lipstick on the same pig.

For instance, she recently pushed the Jim Crow nonsense, stating, “And as only the 55th black woman to ever be elected to the U.S. House, I can tell you that there is so much more work to do. But right now they are trying to take us back to prior to LBJ signing The Voting Rights Act into law.”

We all know that is not true, but that is the narrative that Democrats continue to push, while at the same time ignoring how they treat minorities in this country who come out as conservatives.

Crashing in polling

With Crockett, one of the new faces of the party, spewing foul-mouthed rants and old narratives, the Democrat Party is crashing.

Historically, the new incoming party to the White House gets crushed during its first mid-term election, but the numbers are telling me the GOP has a fighting chance this time unless Dems make some big changes.

Democrat approval rating is down to 34%, a historic low for a party that generally floats between 40% and 60%.

Voters see the party as “weak” and “ineffective,” and they are clearly tired of hearing the Democrats repeat the same narratives but never being able to do anything about them. They have become the all-talk, no-bite party.

Schumer crashing and burning

As the Senate Minority Leader, Senator Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) has been called out by his party on numerous occasions, and it is taking a toll.

Schumer has tanked, now sitting at a 39% approval rating among New York voters, the lowest of his career. He also only has a 49% approval rating among Democrats, which is just awful.

To this point, Schumer has dismissed polling, having stated, “Polls come and go. Our party is united. We’re on our front foot, we’re stepping forward, going after [President] Trump and having real success.”

Let them keep dismissing the polling, and we will see how that works. These numbers are just awful, and it could be a saving grace for the GOP during the midterm elections. I still believe it will be very difficult to hold the House, but I am becoming more optimistic about limiting the damage.
