Arguably among the most popular Democrats on the far-left flank of the party, Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) just took a major hit in the PR department.
Crockett is not about legislating, and that is something about which she was quite open during a recent interview with a local station in Texas.
Now, however, insiders are coming forward, telling tales of a diva who is only interested in headlines, clicks, likes, and shares.
Crockett has made it quite clear that legislating is not her primary interest.
As far as she is concerned, her only goal is to stop Trump, which she apparently plans on doing by dropping vulgar comments about him in the media and on social media.
For instance, during an MSNBC interview, she stated, “The problem is that Americans thought that it was OK to take a full-fledged criminal and make him the president of the United States, and then they want to act aghast when he does criminal things."
She continued, “Let me tell you: We have a thug in charge of the United States. And if we don’t wake up, we may not have a United States, because right now he has only been successful in being a divider in chief.”
It gets much worse, as Crockett recently hit Trump again, saying something that if any Republican had said about Obama, they would have been run out of town.
During the event, she stated, “Donald Trump is a piece of sh**. OK, we know that. But in a functioning democracy, he still would not be able to get away with this.”
And it was not only Trump, as she also accused conservative members of the Supreme Court of being corrupt, stating, “We know that they’re taking money. We have the paper trail. And they refuse to put guardrails on themselves, so it’s time for us to do it for them.”
In a truthful journalist world, she would have been asked to back that up with hard proof, but that is not the world we live in today. So her comments have already resulted in more allegations being made against our conservative justices.
You have heard me say time and time again that today’s politicians are not legislators; they are social media stars and podcasters, more interested in creating noise than they are in legislating. That is the exact story Crockett insiders are now telling the media, as they have apparently grown tired of her act.
One former aide stated, “She is laying around her apartment, won’t come into the office, and is just indifferent to staff and will scream at them. She is never in the office and is very disengaged. She does her bull -- that goes viral, and then freaks out over the most random things.”
Another added, “It is widely known that she’s not nice to staff and is just not a really dedicated member focused on constituents.” And a third continued the same narrative, stating, “She is focused almost exclusively on being an influencer, not a member of Congress,” describing her as “all diva, no wow.”
The media loves her, and she is even gaining traction for higher seats, but I think we are finally getting the real picture of Ms. Crockett. My opinion is that this woman is a complete fraud, right down to her manufactured personality. She is literally the picture of modern-day Congress, and that is far from a compliment.
