I am not sure the obsession over Jeffrey Epstein will go away in this country until we have all the files published. This controversy has taken on a life of its own, even though Trump has begged MAGA to just leave it alone.
Dems also have a problem, however, as the relationship between Epstein and Clinton is coming back into the spotlight.
Had Epstein been arrested, prosecuted, sent to jail, and still been alive, I don’t think anyone would care.
However, his links to Bill Clinton and the fact that he died from suicide in his jail cell had everyone asking questions.
While I am not accusing the Clintons of murder, let’s just say a lot of people who could harm them have magically turned up dead by some rather odd causes.
To that point, there is now a national fascination with this man and his links to the most powerful people in the country.
Epstein has been on the radar of authorities since 2005, when a complaint was filed in Palm Beach, FL, that Epstein had allegedly paid a 14-year-old girl for a massage.
Prosecutors found more evidence of abuse dating back years prior to that, but for some reason, a deal was reached in 2007 that led to Epstein being charged with two state crimes and a small prison sentence.
Over the next few years, several lawsuits were filed and settled, and Epstein kind of went off the radar for a few years. Then, in 2015, the Virginia Roberts Giuffre case was filed, opening the door to the prosecution of Ghislaine Maxwell in addition to Epstein.
That started the ball rolling, which eventually led to Maxwell serving 20 years and Epstein back in jail, where he committed suicide before he could take down all his fellow pedophiles.
The Clintons would have you believe this was nothing more than an acquaintance, but that is far from the case, as Bill Clinton traveled with Epstein quite often, and sometimes allegedly ditched his Secret Service team.
Clinton traveled on the Lolita Express quite often, but there are questions as to whether Clinton ever made it to Epstein’s private island, where the worst of his activities allegedly took place.
That plane was often staffed with very young girls, often underage, raising eyebrows, including actor Kevin Spacey's, who stated, “I felt Epstein put the president at risk with those young girls on board. It was disturbing. There were young girls on those flights. I didn’t understand at the time who they were or why they were there.”
This week, a House Committee subpoenaed Bill and Hillary Clinton on the subject, and I am sure Bill will be asked to explain some things, including a photo of Bill getting a massage by a young lady at the airport during one of those trips. Now, I am not expecting Bill and Hillary to say much, but it sure will be fun to watch them squirm.
