With the BBB now passed, Donald Trump can really get his immigration agenda rolling.
Unlike during his first administration, Trump was able to get his legacy legislation through early in his term, which will be a game changer, and the media knows it.
Cue the attacks against Trump’s family, with a CNN contributor suggesting that the Trump family needs to be investigated to ensure they are all here legally.
Due to her status as a naturalized citizen, first lady Melania Trump has become the favorite target of the liberal media with regard to her husband's immigration agenda.
You see, Melania came here legally, but the media equates Donald Trump's crackdown on illegal immigration to an assault against all immigration, which is a complete and utter lie.
Nevertheless, they love going after Melania, and the ladies of The View did so during Trump’s first term, mocking -- or I should say, almost -- mocking her.
While they were accusing Melania of plagiarizing something from Michelle Obama, co-host Sonny Hostin was getting ready to read a quote from Mrs. Trump, speaking in a Slovenian accent, but one of her colleagues warned her to stop, so she read the quote in her normal voice. These women became obsessed with Melania, taking shots at her every chance they could.
Once again, it was the ladies on The View who were hammering Melania two years after she left the White House, criticizing her for a planned Rose Garden makeover. Show co-host Joy Behar stated, "She turned that beautiful Rose Garden into a cemetery. That's one thing she did. What did she do exactly? Honestly, I don't care what she does. I really don't care. Do you?"
Next up is Rep. Jasmine Crockett (R-TX), who took a shot at Melania’s modeling career, stating, “Since we’re talking about integrity, I’m confused as to why my Republican colleagues aren’t talking about the lack of integrity when it comes to the president’s family’s visas."
Crockett went on, “Melania, the first lady -- a model, and when I say model, I’m not talking Tyra Banks, Cindy Crawford or Naomi Campbell-level -- applied for and was given an EB-1 visa.”
It truly is wonderful to see women encouraging other women, isn't it?
That brings us to the latest childish attack, with CNN personality Bakari Sellers suggesting that some of the Trump family could be here illegally.
He stated, "Look, if we want to have a conversation about who belongs where, when, how, and whether or not their citizenship status -- and we want to look at everything, I mean, I would look at Donald Trump Jr. I would look at all of Melania‘s kids, all of Ivana‘s kids. I mean, let‘s just have a full conversation over who belongs here, how did they get here, their citizenship status."
Sellers added, "Let‘s just have a full discussion about all of it. Why is that not on the table right now? I mean, the only person here should be Tiffany Trump, if we‘re going to have this discussion."
I am trying to figure out how someone like this can actually get on TV and be taken seriously. “All of Melania’s kids...” She has one, Barron. Furthermore, both the late Ivana Trump and Melania Trump came to this country legally, so there is no issue here, and that is well documented (I honestly cannot even believe I have to defend this). It’s about illegal immigration, period... and I don’t understand why they cannot get it through their thick skulls.
