Besides being a registered Republican, Bowman serves as the pastor of The River Church in Cincinnati and is also the co-owner of Kings Arms Coffee. His diverse background provides a mix of community engagement and entrepreneurship.
His run for office was largely inspired by witnessing the inauguration of his brother JD Vance alongside President Donald Trump.
Speaking about his brother's impact, Bowman mentioned his admiration for JD Vance, although he emphasized that he doesn't speak on behalf of his brother. "An incredible role model," he said about the Vice President, reflecting a familial pride in Vance's achievements.
Before launching his candidacy, Bowman highlighted the crucial phase Cincinnati is entering. He expressed a deep commitment to ensuring the city does not "fall behind in the critical years ahead."
