Ryan Whyte Maloney, former contestant of the popular TV music competition "The Voice," has died at 44.

The Clark County Coroner's Office confirmed that Maloney's death, attributed to a gunshot wound to the head, was a suicide according to People

The Las Vegas-based office reported Maloney's death on Tuesday, Jan. 28, bringing an abrupt and tragic end to the life of a talented musician.

Maloney had shared a video on social media the day before his death, appearing at a bar, which would turn out to be one of his final public interactions.

Early Life and Musical Beginnings

Born in Traverse City, Michigan, in 1981, Maloney showcased his passion for music from a young age. His musical journey began with learning to play multiple instruments, including the guitar, violin, cello, and drums.

These formative years laid the foundation for what would become a remarkable career in the music industry.

Maloney was the lead vocalist of the prog-rock band Indulge, which gained notable attention. The band released its album "Tomorrow's Another Day" in 2005. For a decade, Maloney toured with Indulge, captivating audiences with his dynamic performances.
