Worsening national baby formula shortage has exasperated parents on edge

The nation has been beset by an alarming shortage of baby formula in recent months, and as Fox Business reports, the worsening crisis is leading many parents to wonder why more action is not being taken by those in power to address their concerns.

According to Ben Reich, CEO of Datasembly, a firm known for providing real-time product pricing, assortment, and promotion data for a range of consumer goods, the dilemma can be attributed to factors such as inflationary pressure and supply chain disruptions, and there does not appear to be an easing of the situation on the immediate horizon.

Speaking exclusively with Breitbart News, Reich explained, “Since early April, baby formula out of stock rates have soared to 40% across the country, according to our analysis.”

“Baby formula demonstrated inflationary spikes in July of 2021, and the situation has continued to worsen the first few months of 2022. Inflation, supply chain shortages and product recalls have continued to bring volatility to the category, and continues to be one of the most affected products in the market,” he added.

Though the shortage initially affected mostly those formula products designed for infants with specialized dietary and digestive concerns, the problem has since mushroomed to include virtually all variations within the category, leading to frequently empty store shelves and erratic availability of online ordering.

Understandably panicked parents have been taking to social media in recent weeks, decrying the lack of media attention to their dilemma and inaction on the part of the government to help ease the crisis.

“If the [mainstream media] can talk about the toilet paper shortage ever [sic] hour, they should be talking about the baby formula shortage at least,” said one exasperated mom, as Fox Business noted.

Kentucky father Russell Bleck told Fox News Digital of the difficulty he has had locating formula for his six-month-old son, saying that the situation is “very stressful” and a “real problem for real people,” adding, “Never did I think I would have a problem finding food for my baby in America.”

Echoing the sentiments of millions of his fellow Americans, Bleck continued, “It would be nice if the MSM would get back to covering what is impacting people’s lives. For the first time in my lifetime, I am seeing everyone from all walks of life hurt. It doesn’t matter who you are, you are feeling this economy.”

Well we have dementia Joey to thank for this horrible economy. He was put in a position he as never qualified for in the first place so Democraps can rule without oversight. Biden is responsible for the shortages of products. And any idiots that voted for him share that responsibility.
