First Lady Jill Biden’s Press Secretary Michael LaRosa blasted Fox News host Rachel Campos-Duffy for comments that Jill had “failed the country” by letting her husband run for president.
“I’m sorry, as a political spouse, I can’t help but look at Jill Biden. No one knew better his state of mind than Jill, Dr. Jill Biden, and if you ask me the most patriotic thing Jill Biden could have done was to tell her husband, to, to love her husband and not let him run in these, in this mental state that he’s in,” Duffy said.
“I think she failed the country as well,” he added.
LaRosa responded, “This is disgusting. @RCamposDuffy and @FoxNews know better. They can do better and their viewers deserve better. I hope they’ll apologize to the First Lady and leave this kind of talk in the🗑️where it belongs.”

The criticism come as a growing number of Americans have questioned the President Joe Biden’s ability to lead the nation following his botched withdrawal of Afghanistan and ongoing mental lapses.
An August Rasmussen Reports survey found just 39 percent of Americans thought Biden was “doing the job of president.” More than half of those surveyed, 52 percent, believed Biden was not physically and mentally capable of doing the job.
Biden’s problems are certainly growing, but whether it’s the fault of the first lady is a matter of debate. Her spokesperson may call it disgusting, but many Americans would at least agree Biden is not leading well.
