White House panicked over new testimony regarding Hunter Biden's laptop scandal

President Joe Biden's White House just added another major scandal to their long list of major scandals and screw-ups, this time revolving around the memo signed by 51 intelligence experts who swore that the Hunter Biden laptop situation was nothing more than Russian disinformation.

In a bombshell testimony from former deputy director of the CIAMike Morell in front of the Republican-controlled House Judiciary Committee, Morell claimed that then-campaign adviser Antony Blinken and the Biden campaign orchestrated the now-infamous and debunked memo signed by former and current intelligence heads.

The House Judiciary Committee, chaired by Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), released an eye-popping statement regarding the testimony, and apparently, Biden's White House is in full panic mode.

"The White House is in full panic mode over tonight’s Blinken story. They got caught," the House Judiciary Committee tweeted.

Traditionally White House-friendly media outlets even reported the story.

CBS News's Catherine Herridge tweeted, "Days after a story about Hunter Biden’s laptop in 2020, Sec. of State Antony Blinken, then a Biden campaign adviser, reached out to a former CIA official + “set in motion the events that led” to a statement from intelligence officials say House Republicans."

The committee's statement on the testimony from Morell detailed how the fake memo came to be, including Blinken's involvement using his connections in the intel community.

"In his transcribed interview, Morell testified that on or around October 17, 2020, Blinken served as a senior advisor to the Biden campaign and reached out to him to discuss the Hunter Biden laptop story. According to Morell, although your outreach was couched as simply gathering Morell’s reaction to the Post story, it set in motion the events that led to the issuance of the public statement," the statement read, in part.

House Republicans wrote, "This concerted effort to minimize and suppress public dissemination of the serious allegations about the Biden family was a grave disservice to all American citizens’ informed participation in our democracy."

Chairman Jordan said that the whole scheme was a "political operation."

"When the story came out on Oct. 14, 2020, about the Biden business operation and was then-Vice President Joe Biden involved, there was some concern that he was — and then quickly it turns into this political operation — that letter that became the basis for suppressing the story and keeping it from the American people just days before the most important election we have," Jordan said in a Fox News interview.
