White House issues infographic instructing families on how to defend Joe Biden during Thanksgiving dinner

The White House released an infographic instructing families on how to defend President Joe Biden's agenda at Thanksgiving, the Daily Wire reported. White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre and other officials shared the propaganda piece on social media.

"It's hard to quit talking politics cold turkey — even at Thanksgiving," Jean-Pierre captioned the post titled "Top Accomplishments for when chatting with your Uncle at Thanksgiving" on Wednesday. "Talk to your family from across the aisle, and across your dinner table, with this cheat sheet."

The infographic featured autumn theming with talking points full of half-truths. Each bolded claim had bulleted supporting points underneath designed to be persuasive, even if untrue.

The first point said the administration was "tackling inflation and lower costs." That was an interesting choice for a start, considering this year's Thanksgiving dinner costs families 20% more than last year.

The next point was about how Biden "took on Big Pharma -- and won" in a nod to provisions in the Inflation Reduction Act that cap prices the government will pay for drugs. However, the rest of the act is a spending spree that is likely to increase inflation overall and, thus, a terrible piece of legislation.

The third point and fourth points boasted more government spending and tighter gun control, respectively. Both are prime examples of government overreach, even if turncoat Republicans allowed them to be "bipartisan" efforts.

However, it's the next point that stretches the truth the most. The line boldly credits Biden with "10 million jobs created, unemployment at near record lows, more small businesses launching than ever before, no new taxes on people making less than $400,000."

What it omits is that it happened because the nation reopened after the government forced the prolonged closures sending many people to the unemployment line and bankrupting small businesses. The fact that these things are being readded to the economy has more to do with reopening than anything Biden did.

The last point provided the shopworn message that Congressional Republicans are "extreme." The infographic mentions things like proposing a national ban on killing babies in the womb and opposition to his bloated legislation that is sure to exacerbate inflation as proof.

Critics were quick to point out that this was "propaganda" and certainly not in the spirit of family togetherness. Others attacked the veracity of the White House's claims.

"During this holiday season, share the gift that keeps on giving with your loved ones: government propaganda," commentator Siraj Hashmi tweeted. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) charged that the administration "wouldn't need dishonest talking points to make it through Thanksgiving dinner" if Biden was actually doing a good job.

Biden is one of the worst presidents in the history of the United States. The only thing this infographic will accomplish is furthering the divide between families where at least one member refuses to recognize that fact.
