Democrats have a real problem on their hands for 2024. It's bad enough that 80-year-old, perpetually confused President Joe Biden believes he could actually run the White House for a second term, but the party's other problem is even worse.

According to The Blaze, Vice President Kamala Harris, who sports abysmal polling numbers, especially in the "likeability" department, is causing a headache for Biden's White House, and they're not sure what to do about it.

The vice president's RealClearPolitics numbers are horrendous, to be kind.

The Blaze noted that "Harris' average job approval rating is 38%, with an average of 54% of respondents giving her an unfavorable assessment."

Some high-profile Democrats, according to the Washington Post, are "unpersuaded that she has the force, charisma and skill to mount a winning presidential campaign."

"There are some people in our party who are saying, 'We already have hurdles. Let’s not create more," said Erick Allen, chair of the Cobb County Democrats.

While Biden's White House scrambles to figure out a way forward for the weak and ineffective vice president, who has dropped the ball every task with which she was assigned, it didn't stop them from promoting her on Biden's website, and in his 2024 election announcement.

Some believe that the White House was forced to hype her up as a "pre-emptive strike against expected assertions by Republicans that [Biden] does not back her."

The Blaze noted:

Harris spokeswoman Kirsten Allen suggested that "our teams have been focused on lifting up the priorities of President Biden and Vice President Harris as they build a future where every person in our nation can thrive, and will continue to remain focused on this work together."

With the 2024 election inching closer and with strong Republican candidates on the other side ready to fight for the Oval Office, many believe that the Biden/Harris ticket is far too weak to stand up this time around and take the victory home.

Only time will tell what the Democratic Party ultimately does with such a problem.
