White House abruptly cuts off video feed of Biden briefing

President Joe Biden’s video feed was cut off during a briefing in Boise, Idaho, on Monday as the president was answering a question.

Biden had visited the National Interagency Fire Center related to wildfires in western states. “One of the things, that uh, I’ve been working on with some others is —” the president said before the video abruptly ended.

“White House staff has cut the video feed during briefings at least twice before,” Breitbart News reported.

Last week, Politico reported White House staffers privately switch off or mute Biden’s public appearances out of anxiety.

The president’s trip also includes a stop in California in a last-minute effort to rally votes for Gov. Gavin Newsom’s recall election on Tuesday.
