Video of Trump praying with ice cream parlor worker goes viral

Ahead of a campaign stop in South Carolina, former President Donald Trump had an interaction with an ice cream parlor worker that immediately went viral, and for good reason.

As he prepared to make an order, one of the women behind the counter asked if she could pray for the former president. Trump's response was perfect.

"Yes, go ahead, go ahead and do that," Trump said, before taking the woman's hand in prayer and placed his other hand on her shoulder.

The video, and many like it, have racked up millions of views, and generated mountains of positive feedback.

"That's so awesome! That's what we need, someone to pray over us someone to tell us that things will get better if we put our trust and faith in God! Bless this young woman for praying for our President," one Twitter user wrote.

More agreed that this country can use more prayers all around.

"We must pray together for each other, prayers bring you protection and your faith is your strength. I know it's much more than this but that's the simple explanation. Funny thing is when I get attacked for my faith I pray for them and move forward," one Twitter user wrote.

"Amen-one of the many reasons I Love President Trump!" another Twitter user wrote.

Trump's trip to South Carolina came after a stop in New Hampshire, where he doubled down on his commitment to win the White House for what would be a second, non-consecutive term in 2024.

CNN reported:

Appearing in New Hampshire before a second stop in South Carolina, Trump said he was “more angry” about the direction of the country and vowed to return to the first-in-the-nation primary state “many, many more times” as he looks to replicate his first-place finish in the Granite State in 2016.

Trump's trip was seen as his first meet with the public since announcing his intentions.

If he keeps doing things like this, it looks like he's gonna be just fine in the polls.
