Former Fox News host Tucker Carlson's exit from Fox News has been dramatic but things are going to get much crazier with the surfacing of a clip from 2022 where Carlson stated that members of Congress were “controlled by the intelligence agencies."
The clip is from an interview with former Democrat Presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard in December 2022. Carlson stated, "There are members of Congress who are controlled by the intelligence agencies. I’m not speculating about this, I know this. I lived there for 35 years. I know this."
This clip is particularly interesting as both the intelligence community and high-profile members of Congress have celebrated Carlson's firing from Fox.
By all accounts, Carlson hasn't been able to talk enough about the level of control that intelligence agencies hold over Congress.
Tucker Carlson has been sounding the alarm on various issues that even other conservative talking heads refused to touch for years.
One of the biggest issues that Carlson has been extremely insistent on covering is the unholy marriage between the intelligence community and our nation's legislature.
During the Gabbard interview, Carlson launched into a story saying, "I had a very high-ranking member of the House Intel Committee tell me at dinner at a restaurant in Washington, he’d been drinking. ‘We’ve got to talk about this.’ I said to text me. He said, ‘I don’t text.’ Why is that? Well, he said ‘the NSA reads my texts.’ I said, ‘The NSA reads your texts? You’re the head guy on the Intelligence Committee. You’re their boss? You’re providing oversight in our Constitutional system,' Yeah, but they’re still spying on him."
Carlson didn't stop there. He continued by saying, "The second thing: Michael McCaul, who is the leader of the neocons in the House, I got into an argument once with him last year on the phone. He told somebody that I was a Russian agent or something. And I was outraged! So I called him on the phone, and I used bad language. I was really mad. He said, ‘Whoa, whoa, whoa, I that was just what the intel briefers told me, that you’re working for Russia.'"
Even Republicans are going along with the absurd narratives that intelligence agencies are spewing about populist conservatives.
If you question Democrat foreign policy, you will have "intel briefers" telling your Congressional representatives that you are an agent of a foreign power.
Fox News has been masquerading as a conservative answer to the leftist mainstream media for years. The network is conservative in name only and only a few voices like Tucker Carlson ever truly dug into real issues.
It was Fox News that began calling states early in the 2020 presidential election and it is little surprise to see the network purging those figures who truly called out the system.
Tucker Carlson isn't the only conservative who was booted for calling attention to sensitive subjects. Dan Bongino, who coincidentally hosted a show titled, "Unfiltered," was let go not long before Carlson was fired.
Real conservatives need to understand that Carlson was truly exposing the deep state and that Fox News put an end to that. Carlson may be looking for new work, but now conservatives can see Fox News for what it really is.
