"[T]he voters have spoken, and they have said that they want a different leader. And a true leader understands when they have become a liability. A true leader understands that it's time to step off the stage," Sears said.
"I could not support him," she added. "We have a clear mission. And it is time to move on."

The concerns related to Trump's plans for reelection have grown this week. First, Trump has teased a special announcement he plans to make from Mar-a-Lago on Nov. 15.
Many believe it will be his announcement of a comeback bid to become president.
Second, he launched a scathing attack on Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis on Thursday, just two days after the conservative stood out for leading Florida to strong wins.
Trump called DeSantis "an average REPUBLICAN Governor with great Public Relations," warning him against a White House bid.

Time will tell if Sears is one of a few to make such a claim or whether her words will foreshadow Trump's lack of support to run again.
