Numerous accounts have emerged of Americans working to flee Afghanistan after the Aug. 31 military evacuation by President Joe Biden, revealing the battle with the nation is not yet complete.
“Within that last 12 hours, I had four buses of American citizens outside the gate,” retired Marine intelligence officer Lt. Col. Jonathon Myers told the Washington Examiner.
“They were mostly pregnant women and babies, including a child with spina bifida, just all packed together waiting at the gate,” he added.
In another account, Myers told of a 17-year-old U.S. citizen who swam through raw sewage due to escape.
Another family of four reportedly escaped Afghanistan yesterday. The State Department is now attempting to claim connection with the rescue, though they shared little in it.
The organizer of a private mission to rescue an American mom and her 3 children from Afghanistan says the U.S. State Department is now trying to insert itself into the story of her evacuation, despite playing little to no role in the rescue effort.https://t.co/eq1ZJcpypt

Americans have especially grown frustrated with the lack of concern shown by the White House. As Americans remain trapped, Biden traveled for a weekend vacation for Labor Day.
The scene has sickened many who see the moves as a failure of the nation’s commander-in-chief. Those left in Afghanistan need full support in efforts to return to America.
