Two people were killed and 11 shot during an early Easter morning rampage on Sunday in Pittsburgh, police report.
The shooting occurred at an AirBnB location where approximately 200 people gathered for a Saturday night party in the East Allegheny area of the city.

“You have alcohol. You have underage people here and you have guns. That’s a deadly combination for any type of an event,” Pittsburgh Police Commander John Risher said.
“The end result is it’s a tragedy. There was unnecessary death here and gunshot victims. It all could have been prevented,” he added.

Up to 50 rounds may have been fired, according to local reports. In addition to those injured in the shooting, others experienced injuries in an attempt to escape. Police are investigating up to eight separate locations connected with the crime, according to the Washington Examiner.
The tragic shooting was one of at least three nationwide over the weekend as violence broke out in multiple locations over the holiday period.
