The Baltimore Ravens experienced terrible news, not once but twice, as the team reported on the deaths of two players on the same day.
Ravens linebacker Jaylon Ferguson was announced dead at the age of 26, while former Raven Tony Siragusa died at 55.

“We are profoundly saddened by the tragic passing of Jaylon Ferguson,” the Ravens said on Twitter. “He was a kind, respectful young man with a big smile and infectious personality. We express our heartfelt condolences to Jaylon’s family and friends as we mourn a life lost much too soon.”
No cause was given in his death nor for Siragusa.

Siragusa was also a beloved sideline reporter for Fox Sports from 2003 to 2015. He helped lead the Ravens to a Super Bowl victory in 2001. Tributes and condolences spread online from fans and players as the news was made known to the NFL world.
The double losses hit hard on a team seeking to rebound ahead of the next season.
