Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas has been targeted in online threats, including two recently deleted tweets that appear to call for his death.
The posts were made this week by Simon Gwynn in two Twitter posts now removed from the platform.

The first post asked, “If you had the chance to kill Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito, the two oldest right wing Supreme Court judges, would you do it while Biden can get his nominees to replace them confirmed?”
The second added, “It’s interesting as an abstract question but becomes a real conundrum if, say, you’re terminally ill and have little to lose yourself, but know that it could save many women’s lives in the future.”
Gwynn later wrote that he didn’t endorse murder, but didn’t think there was “anything wrong with thought experiments.”
I’ve removed my recent two tweets about the US Supreme Court as on reflection they’re obviously pretty irresponsible, though I don’t think they would be against Twitter’s TOS.
FYI I don’t endorse murdering anyone, but don’t think there’s anything wrong with thought experiments.

The sickening posts show how extreme some have become on the issue of abortion as the conversation shifts from a legal decision to breaking the law.
