Even before Project Veritas set off a firestorm with the release of videos implicating Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) in a ballot harvesting for money scheme in Minneapolis, Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) was on a campaign to stop universal vote-by-mail and ballot harvesting measures championed by some of her Democrac colleagues.
She and Republican Congressman Rodney Davis introduced HR8285 the Election Fraud Protection Act on September 17. The bill, if passed, will protect the chain of custody of ballots and prohibit funding to states that allow ballot harvesting.
It is no wonder that Democrats want universal vote-by-mail and ballot harvesting. Ballot harvesting is legal in the state of California and the practice delivered a stunning victory for the Democrats. They now hold a super-majority in both houses of the legislature, a Democrat governor, and an overwhelming majority in their congressional delegation. Historically Republican districts were flipped, reducing the GOP delegation to just seven members out of 52
President Trump has been warning the nation about the damage vote-by-mail can do to the integrity of the country’s election process and Gabbard echoed those warnings while introducing her bipartisan bill. Both are mocked by the Democrats and the mainstream media.
Gabbard explained her reason for introducing the legislation:
Our vote is our voice. No one, no one should get between a voter and the ballot box.
Watch Gabbard explain the bill and the dangers of ballot harvesting:
Project Veritas offers further evidence of the need to ban ballot harvesting. It’s not a partisan issue. It’s been abused to help both R & D candidates, including in North Carolina & California. Please help by telling your congressional rep to pass our bipartisan bill HR8285. https://t.co/AJequVVrzc

Representative Gabbard’s honesty about the dangers of ballot harvesting and mail-in-voting is refreshing. She appears to be the only voice of reason left in the Democrat party.
