President Trump emphatically ended speculation that he will tamper with social security benefits if he is elected to another term. “We will strongly protect Medicare and Social Security,” Trump said on Monday. “And we will always protect patients’ pre-existing conditions.”
Democrats have attempted to accuse Trump of destroying social security and Medicare access and benefits in order to turn older voters against Trump, but he turned the argument on its head.
President Trump explained that Joe Biden’s plan will bestow free health care for illegal immigrants, which will result in “decimating Medicare and destroying your Social Security.”
“When I am president no one will touch your Medicare, no one will touch or hurt in any way, shape, or form, your Social Security,” he declared with finality.
Democrats also have attacked President Trump’s stance on Obamacare, complaining that the GOP plan for healthcare will not allow for coverage of pre-existing conditions. Trump again destroyed these allegations, telling voters that “we will always protect patients’ pre-existing conditions.”
Trump has taken several important measures to improve access and cost of healthcare in the US, including signing executive orders reducing the cost of prescription drugs and ending the practice of surprise medical billing — something the mainstream media has conveniently ignored.
A huge portion of the Democrat party platform rests on healthcare and social programs like Social Security, but as Trump pointed out, anyone that’s interested in preserving these programs should vote against Biden.
“Biden tried to cut Social Security and Medicare,” Trump warned. “The Biden plan would destroy Social Security and destroy protections for pre-existing conditions. You will have nothing left.”
