Former Vice President Joe Biden, our media-declared president-elect, had an unfortunate incident over the weekend in which he sustained what turned out to be a serious injury to his foot while playing with his two large dogs.
According to the Daily Wire, President Donald Trump, amid his battle to overturn the preliminary results of the election, just took a few moments out of his day to send former vie president Joe Biden a “get well soon!” message on Twitter after Biden was diagnosed with a fractured foot over the weekend.

Early reports indicated that the 78-year-old twisted his ankle while playing in the yard with his two large German Shepard dogs, “Major” and “Champ.” His office issued a statement describing what initially seemed to be an unfortunate, but common injury.
“On Saturday Nov. 28, President-elect Biden slipped while playing with his dog Major, and twisted his ankle,” the statement read. “Out of an abundance of caution, he will be examined this afternoon by an orthopedist.”
As reporters were denied opportunities to see the former vice president enter or exit the hospital, speculation quickly grew that his injuries might have been more serious. A later report from the Daily Wire confirmed that was the case, as it was announced that Biden would be sent to a specialist for further examination.
“Follow-up CT scan confirmed hairline (small) fractures of President-elect Biden‘s lateral and intermediate cuneiform bones, which are in the mid-foot,” Dr. Kevin O’Connor, Biden’s doctor, said in a follow-up statement. O’Connor added that the presumptive president-elect will require a walking boot for the next several weeks.
Biden, who will be the oldest president if it turns out he takes the keys to the White House in January, has had several medical incidents in the past, including a brain aneurysm. He also suffers from a common heart condition called non-valvular atrial fibrillation, or AFib, and has also experienced deep vein thrombosis and a pulmonary embolism.
He reportedly takes several common prescription and over-the-counter medications to treat his various ailments, but his doctors have repeatedly provided him a clean bill of health for a man of his years.
Though he and Trump are obviously not the best of friends, it was refreshing to see Trump take the high road and show class by offering his opponent well wishes.
