As Trump supporters well know, the left is massively intolerant. If you disagree with them, you’re likely to lose your livelihood – especially if you work in a field dominated by leftists.
That’s what one Michigan teacher learned this week.
Justin Kucera, who teaches social studies and coaches baseball, was called into the principal’s office after writing: “I’m done being silent…@realDonaldTrump is our president.”
“I was required to meet with [human resources], the superintendent, and my principal [on July 10]. They initially took my statement on why I tweeted those tweets and they told me they would have a decision about my future employment in the upcoming days. When they completed the meeting, I was told I had the option to either be fired or resign,” Kucera told the Washington Free Beacon.He refused to resign.
It’s getting hairy out there folks. There should be some sort of clear protections against being fired for expressing your political opinions.
