Former President Donald Trump has reacted to the "Twitter Files" by suggesting that a remedy might include the "termination" of at least a part of the U.S. Constitution. 

In case you missed it, on Friday night, new Twitter owner Elon Musk released, via journalist Matt Taibbi, what are being referred to as the "Twitter Files."

The point of the release is to reveal to the public what went on behind the scenes at Twitter when the social media platform decided to censor the New York Post's bombshell Hunter Biden laptop report just before the 2020 presidential election.

The Twitter Files do so by revealing internal communications that took place between Twitter employees, including Vijaya Gadde - Twitter's former head of legal, policy, and trust. It is now clear that Gadde was a major player, if not the mastermind behind the decision.

There are several big takeaways. But, one of the biggest takeaways comes from Twitter File #9, which states, "celebrities and unknowns alike could be removed or reviewed at the behest of a political party."

Although both parties made such requests, according to Taibbi, the system "wasn't balanced." Taibbi reveals, "because Twitter was and is overwhelmingly staffed by people of one political orientation, there were more channels, more ways to complain, open to the left (well, Democrats) than the right."

"Overwhelmingly" is the keyword there. Evidence is provided that shows that "team Biden" - that is, Joe Biden's 2020 campaign team - and the Democratic National Committee (DNC) were among those who asked Twitter to censor users.

Trump's initial response to the Twitter Files was: "wow! That's a really big story about Twitter and various forms of government Fraud including, specifically, Election Fraud."

Trump adds:

The same level of Fraud took place with the other Big Tech companies, if not even worse (if that’s possible?). We are living in a VERY CORRUPT COUNTRY &, AS THEY ARE SAYING ALL OVER THE INTERNET, “NOTHING WILL BE DONE ABOUT IT BECAUSE THE JUSTICE DEPARTMENT & FBI ARE TOTALLY CORRUPT.

The former president followed this up with several subsequent posts on his social media platform, Truth Social. In one, Trump suggests an unusual remedy to this "fraud."

"So, with the revelation of MASSIVE & WIDESPREAD FRAUD & DECEPTION in working closely with Big Tech Companies, the DNC, & the Democrat Party, do you throw the Presidential Election Results of 2020 OUT and declare the RIGHTFUL WINNER, or do you have a NEW ELECTION?" Trump asked.

Trump then argued: "A Massive Fraud of this type and magnitude allows for the termination of all rules, regulations, and articles, even those found in the Constitution. Our great 'Founders' did not want, and would not condone False & Fraudulent Elections!"

That's unlikely to happen. But, at this point, it is hard to deny Big Tech's election interference, and it seems obvious that - if you are a Republican - something ought to be done to stop it from continuing - but what? Twitter, now in the hands of Musk, appears to be heading in the right direction.
