Former President Donald Trump said during an interview on Wednesday that Taiwan could be the next nation to be attacked as Russia continues its invasion of Ukraine.
Trump shared the remarks during an interview on Fox Business’s “Mornings with Maria.”

“Taiwan is going to be next. Just watch Taiwan; President Xi is watching with glee,” Trump said.
“They’re seeing that our leaders are incompetent, and of course, they’re going to do it. This is their time,” he added.
The comments also come as former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo visits Taiwan. Other U.S. officials have also been in Taiwan this week to address a forum in the nation. Pompeo, who served under Trump, has also been outspoken about the Biden administration’s failures to stop dictators.

Trump has often predicted events that have come true, but this is one that many hope will not as the people of Taiwan would lose independence to a communist nation that would bring much trouble to the nation.
