A transcript released from a deposition last October with former President Donald Trump revealed he was once afraid of fruit being thrown at him during an event, fearing death by a flying pineapple.
The account was published recently in a new report by Rolling Stone magazine.

“And you get hit with fruit, it’s — no, it’s very violent stuff. We were on alert for that,” the former president said, noting that “it’s worse than tomato, it’s other things also,” but that the tomato is also “very dangerous.”
“You can get killed with those things,” Trump added.
“Well, a tomato, a pineapple, a lot of other things they throw … I think they have to be aggressive in stopping that from happening,” Trump testified. “Because if that happens, you can be killed if that happens.”
Despite his apparent fear of fruit, the former president continues to remain public through his ongoing rallies, including his recent Nebraska event.

“Our biggest threat remains the sick, sinister and evil people from within our country. They’re a bigger threat than the outside threat.”

The testimony may sound funny, but Trump has faced many threats that are still largely unknown to the public, especially during his time as president.
