Former President Donald Trump’s legal team has revealed evidence that Trump’s passports were wrongfully seized during the FBI’s raid of his Mar-a-Lago home last week.
The new information comes as the media quoted a “DOJ official” who said his passports had not been taken.

“We have learned that the filter agents seized three passports belonging to President Trump, two expired and one being his active diplomatic passport. We are returning them, and they will be ready for pick up at WFO at 2 PM today,” the email to Trump’s attorneys read.
The news forced at least one mainstream outlet to update its information.
NEW: According to a DOJ official, the FBI is NOT in possession of former President Trump’s passports. Trump had accused the FBI of stealing his three passports during the search of his Mar-a-Lago home.

Trump has continued to express his anger over the FBI’s raid, arguing it is an unprecedented political attack against the former president.
The raid may backfire for Democrats, however, as upset Americans could be more motivated to head to the ballot box to oppose the left in November’s midterms.
