Trump insider Kimberly Guilfoyle adds more fuel to Trump 2024 fire

Former President Donald Trump is as popular as ever, especially because President Joe Biden has been a disaster. Many in the GOP are hoping Trump will challenge Biden in 2024, and it looks like he just might.

Kimberly Guilfoyle is the latest to drop a major clue that Trump could run in the 2024 presidential election, the Daily Caller reported. She made remarks to that effect at the 2022 Conservative Political Action Conference Thursday.

“The MAGA movement is alive and well,” Guilfoyle, who was an advisor to the former president and currently engaged to his son Donald Trump, Jr., at the Florida convention. “We will show the Democrats first-hand that elections have consequences when we win a record number of seats in the midterms and that is just step one,” she said.

“Step two is reclaiming the White House and returning President Trump to the Oval Office,” Guilfoyle added. “I pray about this and I am confident that if we are lucky to have President Trump make that sacrifice again then he will defeat Joe Biden.”

The former president has not made any formal announcement, but he has been publicly hinting at the idea as well. Fox News host Sean Hannity had asked if he’d run back in June 2021, but Trump would only affirm that he had made up his mind though wouldn’t share which way.

However, Trump gave a more encouraging response on the “Clay Travis and Buck Sexton Show” Tuesday when asked if he would run again. He wouldn’t say so directly, “but I think you’ll be happy, I really believe you’ll be happy,” Trump told the hosts.

Trump has lost some popularity since only last fall, but 54% of Republicans consider him “very favorable” in a February poll from YouGov. However, it’s far better than Biden, whom only 34% of voters currently approve of.

Though Trump would do a great job, it’s unclear whether the political bloodbath to get him back into the White House would be worth it. The Democrats were ruthless, and the country couldn’t take four more years of their vitriol and attacks.
