President Trump just announced that he’s taking a major step towards eradicating “anti-American propaganda” that’s being pushed within the federal government.
Trump tweeted on Friday that he’s taking steps to eliminate “critical race theory” training programs from federal agencies, calling it a “sickness that must not be allowed.”
White House Office of Budget Management Director Ross Vought confirmed Trump’s decision, tweeting on Friday: “The days of taxpayer funded indoctrination trainings that sow division and racism are over. Under the direction of @POTUS we are directing agencies to halt critical race theory trainings immediately.”
Vought linked to a memo that instructs federal agencies to eliminate the use of “critical race theory,” “white privilege” and “any other training or propaganda effort that teaches or suggests either…that the United States is an inherently racist or evil country or…that any race or ethnicity is inherently racist or evil.”
As Black Lives Matter protests exploded in June, reports surfaced that federal agencies were conducting trainings on “white privilege” and “critical race theory” — an academic discipline that promotes the notion that America is inherently racist.
Discovery Institute researcher Christopher Rufo explained to Tucker Carlson on Thursday the real intent of these critical race theory trainings:
It’s nothing more than a cult indoctrination session that’s based on critical race theory, something that is spreading like wildfire through our public institutions. And it’s, you know, almost more dangerous than the nuclear weapons themselves.
This is something that under the radar has just spread like wildfire. And I think it’s important to call it out. And it must be stopped.
President Trump’s announcement came soon after Rufo’s exposé of the mandatory “3-day reeducation camp for ‘white males‘” conducted by Sandia National Laboratories.
