House Republican Conference Chairwoman Elise Stefanik called for New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) to be immediately arrested following an investigation that discovered he sexually harassed multiple women while in office.
“No one is above the law and today justice must be served. Governor Cuomo must resign and be arrested immediately,” Stefanik said.
“President Joe Biden must immediately call for Cuomo’s resignation.”

Stefanik also appeared on “Hannity” on Tuesday night to further argue for Cuomo’s resignation and arrest.
“We must continue to fight for justice for the victims of Cuomo’s sexual harassment and assault as well as the thousands of seniors who died in nursing homes,” she added in a tweet.

Stefanik’s call for arrest may not happen, but many top Democrats are pushing for Cuomo’s impeachment after the governor continues to state he will not resign. The process will likely move ahead as New York seeks to end Cuomo’s dark leadership of the state.
