Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas said on Tuesday that he will put the dignity of foreign migrants “foremost in our efforts” during a speech to the American Constitutional Society.
“The element of dignity [and] the rule of law. Those are two foundational guideposts as I seek to lead an agency, as we, as servants of the law, seek to bring justice in whatever we do,” Mayorkas said.
“And here in the Department of Homeland Security, I think that must guide everything that we do,” he added.
Breitbart News noted the secretary’s priority of “migrants” over Americans.
“Mayorkas’ 2,100-word speech did not mention the lost dignity of the many millions of Americans who have lost income and wealth amid the inrush of poor migrants waived in by lax enforcement. He did not mention the Americans victimized by undeported migrant criminals or by the addictive drugs being loosed in communities by Mayorkas’ lax rules,” Munro wrote.

The Biden appointee revealed in his speech his focus on illegal immigrants over the protection of American citizens. The contrast appears to be a compromise of his position as the leader of the nation’s Department of Homeland Security.
America’s citizens must take priority in his role and the nation for Homeland Security to be successful. Anything else puts Americans at risk rather than security.
