A report by The New York Times released on Wednesday confirmed the authenticity of Hunter Biden’s laptop, two years following attempts to downplay the significance of the evidence.
Other outlets had published reports regarding the laptop’s information in October 2020, ahead of the presidential election.

“The laptop confirmation was included in the Times report that also revealed how Hunter Biden paid off a tax liability of over $1 million — a year after he announced he was under investigation for defrauding the IRS,” The New York Post wrote on Thursday.
“Hunter Biden has been under investigation for failing to pay taxes since his father was vice president, but the inquiry broadened in 2018 to look into how his international business dealings intersected with President Biden’s political career,” it added.

The new information comes as Democrats face a difficult midterm election cycle following President Joe Biden’s weak leadership that includes soaring gas prices, 40-year high inflation, and failures along the border and Afghanistan.
The latest report only adds to the growing concerns that many on the left fear could lead to a red wave of Republican wins in November.
